The Mangetout Gîtes are situated on the Normandy/Brittany borders within easy reach of the ferry ports of Caen, Cherbourg, St.Malo and Le Havre. This area is a holiday-maker's paradise nestled in the Normandy petit bocage countryside, perfect for a tranquil retreat, your own private haven to explore the region with its excellent restaurants and unspoilt beaches.
Both gîtes are ideal locations for a relaxing holiday where all tastes can
be catered for. They are in the countryside yet within 30 minutes of the historic
monument Mont St Michel, the market towns of Avranches, St Hilaire, Ducey
and Fougères, the walkers' paradise of the Forêt Dominiale du Normandie/Maine
and the superb sandy beaches between Carolles and Granville. Nearby activities
include: fun-parks, zoos, gardens, watersports, bird-watching, cycling, walking,
riding, golf and fishing. An American cemetery and war museum are also close
at hand.
