Le Quatorze Pouey |

Le Quatorze Pouey gîte is in the hamlet of Pouey, approximately 5km west of Le Teilleul and just a 15-minute drive away from the large market town of St.Hilaire du Harcouët. The stone house is surrounded by delightful countryside and pleasing vistas.
The ground-floor is open-planned with well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The focal point of the room is a very large fireplace with a wood-burning fire within. The ceiling has exposed beams and the whole room is very spacious. Fridge, Freezer, Electric Hob, Microwave Oven, Gas Cooker, Washing Machine and other gadgets are provided. The first-floor accommodation has one twin and one double bedroom, which both have heating and space for cots which can be provided if requested. There is a large bathroom and separate WC. It is possible to provide additional sleeping downstairs, so that the gîte can sleep a total of six people. The whole house is comfortably furnished with English satellite TV for those who wish to keep in touch with events at home and adaptors are provided for English plugs.
Outside, there is a large lawned area with a fenced-in swimming pool (24ft x 10ft) and a children's play area. There is outside furniture, including a substantial barbecue. Two modern bicycles are available for those who wish to cycle in the local area.
