| Nine miles east of St.Hilaire du Harcouet is the beautiful village of St.Fraimbault, which is brightly decorated with flowers during the warmer months. St.Fraimbault has won the prize for the outstanding "village fleurie" in France many times in recent years. There are attractive displays of flowers around the public buildings, the park and lake and on nearly all of the houses. Rowing boats and pedalos may be hired at the lake.
Another attraction near to St.Fraimbault is the extraordinary set of chapels of "Notre Dame de l'Oratoire" just outside the village of Passais-la-Conception. These beautifully decorated buildings are sometimes the centres of pilgrimage for thousands of people.
